Pastor Chris Basil
Rev. Chris Basil is a native of Middletown, Ohio. He got his bachelor’s degree in psychology from The Ohio State University and his Master of Divinity from Asbury Seminary. He entered pastoral ministry in 2014, pastoring churches in Centerville, Williamsburg, and Somerset, Kentucky. He was ordained as an elder in the Kentucky Annual Conference in 2020.
Chris has a passion for encouraging and equipping Christians and churches to become reflections of Jesus and God’s kingdom. As a United Methodist pastor, he shares in the mission of “making disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.”
Chris, his wife Julia, and his daughter Miri enjoy reading and playing board games together. Chris also enjoys Olympic lifting and computer games.
